MESSAGE

     The Indian Diaspora of professionals is in a position to make a unique contribution to India’s onward march into the 21st century. With this in mind, I conceived of developing a dynamic and interactive portal PIOUS (Professionals of Indian Origin in USA) connecting professionals throughout the United States. This will help harness their vast knowledge and expertise.

     The forces of globalization are based on connectivity, mobility and interdependence. A portal of this nature will also strengthen research and business connections of Indian professionals to their country of origin. This will help professionals located in the United States as well. The PIOUS can, in the long term become a platform for multifarious activities. With this in mind, the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India sponsored a project executed through M/s. Phoenix Rose LLC, with the help of Indian Embassy in Washington D.C.

      I am happy to state that the portal www.piousnetwork.com is now operational. I have great pleasure in inviting you to join this initiative. We solicit your valuable inputs, feedback, suggestions and views to make PIOUS more effective and useful.
